Is Starbucks Expensive ? worth or not ? #aboutcoffee
Starbucks maybe is the biggest coffee shop. They have many branches around the world. And this is one of the factors why their products are expensive. “Brands”, Because they exist almost in many places around the world. It is certain that their products are known by many people and become global products in the F&B business. So Starbucks is not only known as a brand, but also a prestige. it’s the same thing when we wear nike shoes.
Although now the worldwide franchise companies such as Mcd and Kfc have their own coffee brands. However, it has not been able to compete with Starbucks, which is really concerned about coffee.
For the price, Starbucks coffee-based handcrafted drinks range from IDR 45,000 ( $3 ) to IDR 100,000 ( $7 / special request / secret recipe)
Is This Price Reasonable?
Maybe if a few years ago the price was quite expensive. Because there’re not many price comparisons from local coffee shops. But now it looks like it’s not too expensive, because many local coffee shops now have menu prices that are almost close to Starbucks prices.
It can be around IDR 35,000 ($2.5) for a cup of cappuccino. And there is even a local coffee shop that fixes the price of their signature coffee (basically,it’s milk coffee, only the different name for each coffee shop)
When it comes to taste, there may not be too much difference between the drinks on the tongue of this layman. It’s just that there are several variants of drinks that are difficult to compare.
Is That Price Worth to Buy?
Worth or not, it’s back to each of us and our money. If we just need a place to hang out with friends, and for a short time. A local coffee shop is the right choice.
But if you need a place to work (WFA, Remote or other) you can choose Starbucks. Besides being quieter and less noisy (because most of the guest are there for work). we can also relax for a long time. And this is one of the values of starbucks from its quite expensive price.
How about the working space?
The coffee shop-based working space is actually really worth it. and the menu prices are almost close to Starbucks. However, so far, there aren’t many coffee shops that carry the concept of a full working space.
But it all comes back to our needs and price considerations when we want WFA, Remote or other.
Actually there is one place like starbucks whose prices are below starbucks likes FORE. But it’s the first time i go to there. And can’t give the honest review. maybe i can review it later.
